Once upon a couple weeks ago, my beautiful friends Ally & Amanda went to Italy. Before they left they asked me if I’d make a music video using the video Ally would take on the trip. Due to the fact that Ally’s an aaaamazing photographer/videographer (DuckDuck Collective) with one very beautiful camera, I said, UUHMM YES PLEEEASE. So I did, and here it lies.
[And ohhh yeah, this is only part 1 of 2.]

Reblogging a post I did about a month ago for all thee new followers, yuh might be interested:

ATTENTION RAD BANDS!, y’all want a free music video?
Almost exactlyy one year ago from today in the land of Brooklyn, New York, I decided to combine my love for music & videomaking to document the adventures had by my fantastically rowdy/funtime friends & I. Armed with a shaky little point & shoot and one impressively ancient version of iMovie, I made the best of my low budgetness. One year, 15 musicalvideos & about 30,000 total youtube views later, I’ve fallen SO hopelessly, irrationally in LOOOVE with making these things. A strong believer in taking what you love & making it yer job, it’s all quiiite clear to me that I gotta figure out a way to take this to thee next level.
Only trouble is, how the craaaap does one proceed in becoming a music video director/creator?! I don’t have the faintest of ideas. All I could think is to just uuuh,….go do the stuff. Soo, this is what I’m sayin: if you’re a rad band with an epical song that you think would vibe well with my style (see here for a most recent example), I’d love nothing more than to make you a music video fo freee, all I ask is you help with my travel costs for me to come to youu. We will simply hang out & go have rowdy, adventuresome chaos in aesthetically pleasing places, nooo planning or scripting allowed. Nosir.
SOO. If you’re kinda interested or totallllyy down, email me at meghanellie@gmail.com & we shall get to talking. I unfortunately can’t work for free foreeever, so get at me asap, dear reader.

28 THINGS To Do Before I Turn 28!
Just recently, our Shape What’s To Come vintage & handmade ambassador, Elsie Flannigan, did a blog post recapping a list of 27 things she wanted to do before she turned 28. I thought this was quite awwwesome & was inspired by Elsie to make my own list!…
